I’m originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I grew up watching and playing sports and developed a keen interest in nutrition, exercise, and strength training. After attending the University of Pittsburgh, I earned a BS in Education/Exercise Movement which led to me becoming a certified athletic trainer. A car accident and subsequent chiropractic treatment led me to changing my plans of becoming a physical therapist.

Seeking care for my whiplash injury from a local chiropractor who also provided massage therapy, I made a full recovery and determined I would incorporate my sports medicine experience with chiropractic care. My course was set and I attended the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, IL, earning both the Doctor of Chiropractic degree and an Acupuncture Certification.

My professional career includes 9 years of working at the high school level as a certified athletic trainer in the Chicago suburbs. After chiropractic school graduation in 1998, I began to practice with an established office as an independent contractor and as a coverage doctor for multiple practices. In 2001, I developed Northside Chiropractic in Lakeview, IL which was a practice including chiropractic care, radiology, massage therapy, and acupuncture. I feel fortunate that along with an incredible staff, we were able to create and grow a successful referral-based practice over a continuous 20-year period. One of my career highlights was being selected as a staff chiropractor for 2 years with the Chicago Fire professional soccer team.

My wife Alexia and I met in Chicago where we raised our two young sons Liam and Gavin. Chicago winters started taking a toll and we found Temecula, CA in our search for the perfect place for us to raise the family. While our sons are both active in sports, as a family we enjoy the opportunity to be outdoors as much as possible whether driving to the beach or mountains. When not hanging with our boys and 3 dogs, I enjoy checking out the local wineries in Temecula and searching for good restaurants. My hobbies include exercise, playing guitar, and watching Pittsburgh sports.

What I truly love about being a Chiropractor is getting to know my patients and helping people regain and maintain a healthy lifestyle, naturally!

Tamyka was born and raised in sunny Southern California. A true lover of all things California including the beach, the sun, the shopping and of course the amazing food!!! She loves to dance and was in a performing arts school her whole life pursuing dance. After high school, she decided to go to technical college and specialize in Medical Office Administration and realized that not only did she love the healthcare field, but she also loved being able to help medical offices streamline their business, gain more freedom, and become more successful.

Tamyka has always suffered from painful migraines and always took the conventional route to try and get rid of them. Although that seemed to work, she always felt that she was not able to get to the root of the problem and realized that this was something that she would just have to deal with. Five years ago, she walked into a chiropractic office to start her new job and received her first adjustment a week later. Instantly the headaches seemed to get less and less with every adjustment. Not only that, but her mood was better, her health was better, and her general overall persona was better until eventually, the migraines disappeared altogether. From that day forward she knew that she had found what she had been looking for and never looked back to using modern medicine again! Chiropractic care has changed her whole outlook on life as well as her family’s.
